The Virtual Regional Caucus is Friday, August 21st at 10-11 am (central)!

If you have not yet registered for the Caucus, please click here to do so

Important: Each attendee must register individually and use their own unique ticket for entry. Sharing or forwarding your meeting link to someone else will prevent them or you from accessing the meeting.

RVPs have two important roles for the Regional Caucus.

  1. Facilitate the breakout session, and

  2. Submit a Caucus Report

Here's the overall Agenda for the Caucus. The Texas REALTORS Leadership Team will lead the discussion.

  1. Opening and Welcome

  2. Governance Review Proposal

  3. Strategic Plan Update

  4. Texas REALTORS Building Remodel

  5. Regional Breakouts

    1. All attendees will join regional breakout rooms according to their Region.

    2. RVPs will facilitate the open discussion for their Region in the breakout rooms. Regions with multiple RVPs should designate a facilitator.

Here's the Agenda/Talking Points for the Breakout Session:

  1. Welcome everyone to the breakout session.

  2. At your discretion, allow attendees to introduce themselves, depending on the number of attendees.

  3. Ask a TREPAC Trustee to provide an update

  4. Ask a PIC (Political Involvement Committee) Member to provide an update.

  5. Solicit feedback from attendees on the issues discussed by the Leadership Team.

  6. Solicit feedback on any local issues that Texas REALTORS® or other local associations in the region should be aware of. You can use the information from the RVP Regional Report to help with the discussion. Focus on local political issues, association issues, value of and relationship with Texas REALTORS, etc.

  7. Invite attendees to attend the Regional Forum - Townhall that will be held in-person at Conference

    1. When: Saturday, August 29, 10:45 – 11:30 am in the Texas E Ballroom at the Grand Hyatt, San Antonio.

    2. Purpose: The Townhall is an open meeting for all regions to come together, and RVPs can make the full group aware of any poignant takeaways from their caucus meetings that would benefit the whole group.

  8. Wrap up and thank you. Regional breakouts can end when the discussion concludes. There is no additional business to conduct, and there is no need for attendees to return to the main Zoom room. The call will end at this point.

At the conclusion of the Caucus, please make sure to complete a Caucus Report with highlights of the discussion during the breakout session. The Caucus Report is an online form available here: https://www.texasrealtorsrvps.com/caucusreports
