Virtual Caucus Information and Agenda

The Regional Caucus Zoom meeting is Monday, February 2nd at 2-3pm (Central)!

If you have not yet registered for that meeting, please click here to do so

Important: Each attendee must register individually and use their own unique ticket for entry. Sharing or forwarding your meeting link to someone else will prevent them or you from accessing the meeting.

RVPs have two important roles for the Regional Caucus.

  1. Facilitate the breakout session.

  2. Submit a Caucus Report

Here's the agenda for the Caucus lead by the Texas REALTORS Leadership Team:

  1. Opening and Welcome

  2. Why Regional Caucuses Matter

  3. Meetings not to miss at the Winter Meeting

  4. Governance Review Update

  5. Membership Update

  6. Secretary/Treasurer Election at Board of Directors

  7. Texas REALTORS Building Remodel

  8. Regional Breakouts

    1. All attendees will join regional breakout rooms according to their Region.

    2. RVPs will facilitate the open discussion for their Region. Regions with multiple RVPs should designate a facilitator.

    3. Here's the Agenda for the Breakout Session:

      1. Allow everyone to introduce themselves (at the discretion of the RVP(s) depending on the number of attendees.)

      2. TREPAC Trustee Update

      3. Political Involvement Committee Update (PIC Member)

      4. Solicit feedback on the issues discussed by the Leadership Team.

      5. Solicit discussion on any local issues that Texas REALTORS® or other local associations in the region should be aware of (local political issues, association issues, value of and relationship with Texas REALTORS, etc.).

      6. Invite attendees to the Regional Forum - Townhall at Winter Meeting

        1. When: Sunday, February 8, 3:00 – 4:00 pm in the Texas 1-4 Ballroom at the Hyatt Regency Austin.

        2. Purpose: The Townhall is an open meeting for all regions to come together, and RVPs can make the full group aware of any poignant takeaways from their caucus meetings that would benefit the whole group.

      7. Wrap up and thank you. Regional breakouts can end when the discussion concludes. There is no additional business to conduct, and there is no need for attendees to return to the main Zoom room. The call will end at this point.

At the conclusion of the Caucus, please make sure to complete a Regional Caucus Report at https://www.texasrealtorsrvps.com/caucusreports

Please reach out to me if you have any questions or are unclear about your responsibility at the meeting.
