Clarifying information on Virtual Regional Caucuses

RVP's should have recently received information on our upcoming Virtual Regional Caucuses ahead of Winter Meeting. All caucuses are scheduled between February 5 and February 7. After releasing the schedule to RVP's, it was also released, along with the registration link, to AE's and Texas REALTORS® Directors. You should have all received that communication as well.

We've gotten some questions about what local associations are expected to do with this information. It was mentioned in the original communication, but to clarify, the meetings are open to all members with in the respective region. The expectation is for local associations to distribute the caucus details to their members within their regular communication channels. This would not include social media that is publicly viewable since we won't validate registrants against the member list to validate that we don't have non-members in the meetings. Please reinforce to AE's within your region that the caucus is open to all members and that they are encouraged to communicate it to their members.

RVPs' should receive caucus materials later this week. This includes an agenda and talking points for the meeting. Here's what you can do to prepare:

1. Review the talking points to familiarize yourself and ask any questions you may have about the content. You are encouraged to use your own words rather than reading the talking points to facilitate a better member experience on the Zoom meeting.

2. Know which members of the Leadership Team will be in your meeting - see the list below for that information.

3. If you are part of a region with multiple RVP's, determine in advance who will open the meeting and who will handle each agenda item. This will also make for a much more positive meeting experience for attendees.
