Texas REALTORS® specialty services recognized for outstanding performance

The National Association of REALTORS® recently announced that Texas REALTORS® has been awarded the PLATINUM Global Achievement Program Award for 2022. In announcing the award, which recognizes the association's global real estate programs and services, NAR stated, "Not only did you provide your members the highest level of service by giving them the tools, education and networking they need to handle international real estate, you also continued to work hard and in innovative ways to connect your council to the global community in your market area and beyond."

NAR recognizes associations at four different award levels: Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. Texas REALTORS® has received the Platinum Award each year since 2019 after receiving our first recognition in 2018 as a Gold Award winner. Texas REALTORS® Global Leadership Socar Chatmon-Thomas (Chair), Susan Annoura (Vice Chair) and Brenda Taylor (Liaison,) along with Vice President of Legal Affairs and General Counsel Lori Levy, attended a special ceremony at NAR's Conference to receive the award.

Congrats also goes out to our Commercial team, led by Amber Gilbert (Chair), Michica Guillory (Vice Chair) and Paula Gilbert (Liaison) along with staff liaison Jayneese Fitzgerald. Texas REALTORS® was recently awarded the Commercial Services Diamond Accreditation by NAR. Diamond is the highest of three levels recognized by NAR and represents accomplishment of over 41 benchmarks in service to commercial members.

In making the announcement, NAR said, "Commercial real estate plays a vital role in the economic development of our communities, and we appreciate the commitment Texas REALTORS® has made to providing commercial services to members, engaging commercial practitioners, and being the voice for commercial real estate in the region. On behalf of NAR, I thank you for your hard work and dedication to our members."

With the achievement of the Diamond Accredited Commercial Excellence award, Texas REALTORS® will receive a $1,000 scholarship to be used toward continued commercial services.
