Headed to DC this weekend? Here's some useful info

NAR's Legislative Meetings officially begin tomorrow. Here are a few key resources that may come in handy.

• Make sure you download the app as it will have the latest, up-to-date schedule with any room changes if they should happen. Get it in Google Play or Apple App Store.

• Make sure the REALTOR® National Block Party is on your agenda. You can find general information (like what bring and what not to bring) on the event webpage. NAR has released a map of where each state will be stationed on Tuesday night at the Nationals' Stadium. Texas is on the Club Level - Floor 2, this would change slightly if NAR implements the rain plan, which they will decide Sunday night. At the moment, the chance of rain is 40% on Tuesday.

• Here are some key meetings to get on your agenda:

  • Monday, May 8 (2:00 – 3:00 p.m.) Eligible Candidates Forum: 2024 First VP

  • Monday, May 8 (5:00-7:00 p.m.) RPAC Hall of Fame Recognition Event (Texas has 43 new inductees)

  • Tuesday, May 9 (2:00 – 4:00 p.m.) Treasurer’s Budget Forum

  • Tuesday, May 9 (6:00 – 9:00 p.m.) REALTORS®️ National Block Party

  • Wednesday, May 10 (4:00 – 5:30 p.m.) Region 10 Caucus

  • Thursday, May 11 (8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.) Board of Directors

• The NAR budget proposal which includes annual dues increases beginning in 2024 will be a major topic of discussion during the meetings. If you haven't already, make sure and familiarize yourself with the issue by referring back to the RVP Bulletin post from last week.
